"The [Campus DJs] Partnering with HipHop Fraternity: A Boost for Tristate HipHop"

The campus DJs partnering with the HipHop Fraternity is a significant move for Kentucky's HipHop scene. This partnership means that those involved will be surrounded by major league people in the industry, such as Boosie, Ice T, and Pimpin Ken. Finding the right facility in Frankfort has been a challenge, but it is a major accomplishment.

We sat down with founder of the Campus DJs, Dj Martin to discuss his new partnership.

Q. What does this mean for you to be involved with real HipHop Legacy? Your in an organization consisting of Boosie, ice T, and the legendary Pimpin Ken. That has to be big?

It means a lot to be surrounded by so many major league people. I’m just hoping some of that energy rubs off on me and my buisness.

Q. Have there been any challenges with catering to the hip hop demographic while still maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment at your events?

The biggest challenge we faced was finding a facility in the right place in Frankfort. The owners down here don’t wanna see a lot of us win so finding this place was a blessing.

Q. How do you see this partnership evolving in the future?

I'm hoping this can be a central place for the HHF to come together at. Something like a frat house.

Q. Can you share any exciting upcoming events or collaborations that you have planned with the hip hop fraternity?

We have a lot up and coming for example our $2 Tuesdays and our Exotic Fridays. These events will definitely be something different for the people down here in Frankfort. I’m excited to be bringing something new.

The partnership is expected to evolve into a central place for the HipHop Fraternity to come together. This will provide a space for the community to connect and collaborate, encouraging the growth of the local HipHop scene. Exciting upcoming events and collaborations are in the works, such as $2 Tuesdays and Exotic Fridays, providing a new and exciting experience for the people in not only Frankfort but Kentucky as a whole. The hope is that this partnership will help bring something new to the community and encourage the growth of the HipHop scene in Kentucky.
