SMART KID, THE RISING STAR FROM SOROTI CITY

Meet Smart Kid, born Okaale Enoch Obatia, a 12-year-old sensation from Soroti City, Eastern Uganda. Bright, eloquent, and deeply God-fearing, Smart Kid is already making waves in music and leadership at such a young age.

A pupil still in school, Smart Kid possesses a rare blend of talent and discipline. His musical gift is evident in how confidently he performs, while his natural leadership abilities shine both in the classroom and within his community. A strong moral foundation, shaped by his spiritual values and upbringing, has made him a role model among his peers.

Smart Kid is the beloved firstborn of Obatia Daniel Moses, widely known as Captain Echo UG, also signed to B1E & AWRs and Merabu Asio, both dedicated educators by profession. He has four younger siblings and is being raised in a household grounded in education, faith, and talent.

On 7th July 2025, Smart Kid officially signed with Busy 1 Entertainment and African World Records LLC, marking the beginning of what promises to be a successful journey in the entertainment industry. With the support of his family, his label, and his faith, Smart Kid is poised to become one of Uganda’s most inspiring young voices.
